The Striders had half a dozen of their finest juvenile athletes in action at this weekends Leinster championship. Myles Hewlett gave a very polished performance in the U13 600m event, to win a fantastic Silver medal in an amazing time of 1:40:5. Sam Myers went one better and helped the U11 Wexford 4x100m sprint team to Gold, in the Leinster inter county relay event. Sam also teamed up with Olan Delaney in the U11 600m pairs event. The boys performed really well and their combined time was just outside the medals. Also running the 600m was Sean Lennon, who finished strong to record a Leinster top ten placing in the U12 age group. Eoin Shannon did really well, in his 600m event, as did our final competitor, Cosmo Hewlett, in his Shot Putt event.
Well done to all the boys who continue to represent the club with great distinction.
