Leinster Cross Country Senior Championships, Navan, 11-Nov-2018

Great running from Striders Senior athletes yesterday at the Leinster Senior Cross Country Championships. The Wexford mens team were 3rd county home, with 3 Striders runners making the team, Alan O’Connor, George Delaney and Sean Murphy. Leinster Senior medals are difficult to come by, so well done to the lads. They were ably supported by Pat Callaghan, Fabian Flood and John Kent.
Our lone female runner was Beth O’Connor who gave her all in the womens race gaining good experience at this high level of competition. Just to add a big thank you to all the Striders supporters who braved tough conditions to support our lads over the entire day.
