Following hot on the heels of their best club performance last week, the Striders Juveniles were back in action, in horrible weather, at the St. Senans Open Cross Country event today. Despite the rain we had an even dozen competing at this well established event, that always attracts big fields from near and far. Max Murphy, with a storming finish, produced a great run, finishing a good second, in a big field. Well done also to Ellen Murray, Aoife Wall, TJ Murphy, Tom Mulcahy, Isabella O’Connor, Sarah Lillis, Maitiu Wall, Ava Kehoe, Max Murphy, Luca O’Connor, Aoife Lyng and Adam O’Connor who were all excellent, with most finishing in the top 10 and winning medals.
At the end of a very wet afternoon of cross country, Beth and Alan O’Connor were in action, with both performing really well. Well done to all at St Senans who put on a great show, despite the weather.
