Well done to the 50 or so Striders who participated at Ferrybank’s Track & Field day, at the RSC, Waterford. The weather was not at all kind, but the host club did an exceptional job in ensuring the event went ahead.
The Juvenile Striders (too many to mention) were very successful, placing well in all events, including track, field, walks and relays. Coaches were very 
impressed with the enthusiasm and participation shown by all athletes. Ted, Alan, Gavin, Lettie and Sonia all performed excellently to win medals in their various Senior events. The overall best club shield was won by SLOT (Carlow), with USAC not far behind.
Next stop the Wexford Track & Field Championships.
