A great day for the club, with team medals in both the Ladies and Mens events, at the Wexford Half Marathon championships. Our Ladies team of Catherine Ronan, Sonya Byrne, Karina Sommers, Kitty Nolan Quigley were the stars of the day, winning Gold. In addition, fantastic performances from Catherine and Sonia were rewarded with second and third places in the individual event.
Not to be completely overshadowed, the Striders Mens team, John Kent, Mick O’Gorman, Lala Patrick Murphy, Eoin Kissane, were third in their team event.
Lots of first time county medal winners here so we are celebrating big time! Huge well done guys.
