It was the turn of the Striders Senior Men to shine this weekend. The Novice Leinster 5k Road race was held in Gowran today with outstanding results from our men. Second club in Leinster, with 9 clubs competing! Huge congrats to Alan O’Connor, John McGrath, Ted Flannelly and Sean Murphy.
And they also qualified on the County team to claim another silver: Alan O’Connor, John McGrath, Ted Flannelly, Sean Murphy, Brendan Lyng and John Stone of DMP. Pat O’Callaghan also ran strong for club and county to make it a very memorable day for the Striders. Thanks to all of the supporters and enjoy the celebrations!
