National Development Juvenile Cross Country Championships, Rathdrum, 08-Feb-2020

The Striders juveniles were in action at Rathdrum, in the National Development Cross Country event. With all medal winning athletes, from the recent national championships, not eligible to compete, this event is always very competitive. In the GU15 event, Isabel Bawden led home the Striders team that also included Aoife Lyng, Ava Leacy and Hazel Hickey, to an 11th place finish, in the club event. In the GU17 event, Erinn Shannon and Clodagh Foran both recorded top twenty finishes. The final event of the day was the BU14 relay event, where the United Striders team of Tommaso Hickey, Luca O’Connor and Sean Lennon placed 6^th.
