HER Outdoors Week is all about celebrating and supporting women in getting outside, getting active, and discovering the many benefits of the great outdoors. It’s a chance to shine a light on the wide range of outdoor activities available to women across Ireland — and to inspire more of us to give something new a go.
This initiative is focused on creating more opportunities for all women and girls to enjoy nature, try new activities, and connect with others in a fun and welcoming environment. From trail running to kayaking, there’s no shortage of ways to explore the outdoors on our little island — and HER Outdoors is the perfect excuse to get started.
As part of this national celebration, United Striders are hosting TWO special events on the evening of Wednesday, August 14th at 7pm — and we’d love for you to join us! Both events will start and finish at the running track, Pearse Park, New Ross. These events are open to all women (not just club members), and are designed to be fun, friendly, and completely FREE.
Come along, try something new, enjoy the outdoors, and stick around for some light refreshments and a chat afterwards. No experience needed — just bring your enthusiasm!
